Collection of 4 Antique Porcelain Half Dolls & Pincushion Dolls – German Marked – Circa 1920s–1930s Description A charming collection of four antique/vintage porcelain half dolls and pincushion dolls, believed to date from approximately the 1920s–1930s Art Deco period. The collection comprises three beautifully presented porcelain dolls mounted on decorative fabric pincushions, together with a particularly attractive miniature German-marked porcelain half doll. Each figure features delicate hand-painted facial details, attractive pastel colouring and individual characteristics typical of early 20th-century decorative porcelain. All four porcelain dolls are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Doll 1 – Seated Lady with Porcelain Legs and Pink Pincushion A particularly charming porcelain lady wearing a pale blue wide-brimmed hat and matching blue shawl over a soft pink bodice. Her delicate hand-painted features, blonde curls and elegant pose are complemented by a dusty pink fabric pincushion skirt with decorative ribbon trim. An especially attractive feature is the pair of extended porcelain legs, finished with gold-coloured shoes, both of which remain completely intact and undamaged. The fabric skirt retains its attractive gathered construction, with some age-related wear consistent with its presumed age. Measurements: * Total height: 9 cm * Porcelain doll height: 5 cm * Width: 5 cm * Depth: 5 cm Condition: Excellent porcelain condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Both legs intact. Doll 2 – Lady with Blue Hat and Pink Lace-Trimmed Pincushion An attractive porcelain half doll depicting a lady wearing a pale blue pointed hat and soft pink bodice, with delicately hand-painted facial features and brown hair. Her elegant pose is complemented by a generously proportioned dusty pink fabric pincushion skirt, decorated with several horizontal rows of cream-coloured lace and long decorative ribbon ties. The combination of soft pastel colours, original-style textile construction and decorative lace creates a lovely example of the traditional boudoir pincushion doll. The fabric, lace and ribbons display age-related wear and discolouration, consistent with their presumed period. Measurements: * Total height: 15 cm * Porcelain doll height: 6 cm * Width: 6 cm * Depth: 6 cm Condition: Excellent porcelain condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Age-related wear to the fabric and lace. Doll 3 – Pink-Haired Lady with Salmon-Pink Fabric Pincushion A delightful porcelain half doll depicting a lady with softly curled pink hair or headdress and a matching pale pink bodice. The figure features delicately painted facial details and a distinctive pose, with both arms raised towards her shoulders. She is mounted on a tall, gathered salmon-pink fabric pincushion skirt, retaining its traditional decorative construction. The gently faded fabric and gathered detailing give this piece considerable vintage character. Measurements: * Total height: 15 cm * Porcelain doll height: 6 cm * Width: 6 cm * Depth: 6 cm Condition: Excellent porcelain condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Some age-related wear and fading to the fabric. Doll 4 – German-Marked Porcelain Half Doll with Black Hair and Yellow Dress A particularly attractive miniature porcelain half doll, featuring glossy black waved hair, beautifully hand-painted facial features and a delicate pale yellow dress with white ruffled detailing. Her hands are elegantly clasped across her chest, creating a refined and graceful pose. The porcelain retains its attractive glossy finish and delicate colouring. An important feature is the clearly visible GERMANY marking on the reverse, accompanied by identification numbers. This miniature example is offered without a fabric pincushion or skirt, allowing the complete porcelain figure and its markings to be appreciated. A particularly appealing piece for collectors of German porcelain half dolls and miniature decorative porcelain.
