Figurine - Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) figural porcelain - Porcelain

Based on its distinctive matte slip-glazed finish, classical mythological subject matter, and construction, it is an original earthenware center bowl produced by the renowned studio of Ernst Wahliss (Turn-Wien, Austria). The scene depicts a nymph or maiden standing on stone steps next to a classic garden font bowl, reaching up to adoringly touch or mask a herm bust of a horned faun/satyr.
