Fender - American Stratocaster (USA) - Pewter Metallic...

If you’re looking not just for a guitar, but for a piece of rock music history, this is the opportunity that’s right for you. This stunning Fender Stratocaster American Standard was produced in the historic Corona, California (USA) facilities, around 1989–1990 — Serial Number prefix E943100. This instrument hails from the late 80s, a golden era for Fender’s revival (the famous “Corona Era”), characterized by very high quality standards, carefully selected woods, and build craftsmanship that today you’ll only find on much higher-end models. The Fender Stratocaster needs no introduction; it’s the instrument that literally gave voice to Rock ’n’ Roll. Choosing a Stratocaster means connecting to an unmatched artistic legacy and walking in the footsteps of music deities who made it a planetary icon: - Jimi Hendrix: who transformed its sound and aesthetics at Woodstock. - Eric Clapton: inseparably tied to his famous Strat “Blackie” and “Brownie,” and who in those very years (late 80s) used metallic finishes very similar to this. - David Gilmour (Pink Floyd): the master of tone and solos immortalized in songs like Comfortably Numb. - Stevie Ray Vaughan: who redefined modern Blues with the roar of his single-coils. - Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple) and Yngwie Malmsteen: who leveraged its attack and precision to write the history of hard rock and neoclassical playing. Technical Specifications & Details: Origin: Made in USA (Corona, California) Year of production: 1989/1990 Finish: Pewter Metallic (a metallic grey with iridescent reflections typical of the period, rare and highly sought after). Neck & Fretboard: One-piece maple neck with a slim, fast profile. Features the iconic walnut truss-rod insert on the nut and the 4-screw back plate with Micro-Tilt tilt adjustment. Electronics & Hardware: 3 original Fender single-coil pickups with a crystal-clear, dynamic, and harmonically rich timbre. 5-way selector switch, tremolo bridge, and original hardware from the era. The guitar is structurally perfect, with smooth electronics, frets in excellent condition, and a straight neck. The strings have just been changed and are NEW. Being a vintage instrument with 36 years of history and music behind it, it shows the normal, fascinating signs of aging. Specifically, there is a small chip in the finish on the back of the body (visible in photos): purely an aesthetic detail that does not affect wood stability, but rather gives the guitar a natural, authentic, lived-in relic look that purists deeply appreciate. Included is the original hard shell case from the era bearing the Fender brand (molded case), essential for both transport and the instrument’s collectible value.
