It is a beautiful charoite, natural, genuine, unchanged. Charoite has a very intense and special purple color with its unique pattern of swirls, feathers and needles. There may be star patches in black (Aegerine), orange (Tinaksite) and also transparent crystals (Microcline Feldspar). Due to its rare color change, the charoite appears very lively, making the piece an exclusive decorative object. The charoite was discovered in 1978 and is a very rare mineral found only in Siberia, Russia. It is named after the Chara River, which runs past the mountain where it is mined.
