Description; For sale at a realistic offer for the collector of exclusive (VR 46) helmets; When you mention iconic helmet designs, you mention Valentino Rossi. And although the Italian veteran is no longer professionally active on the motorcycle himself, beside his renewed four-wheeled career he is still often seen on his R1M when the VR46 Academy organizes a training. And of course a fitting helmet design belongs there. This model is an AGV X-Vent helmet from the "Soleluna" series by Valentino Rossi, originally released in 2001. The helmet features the iconic sun and moon design on the sides. Due to its age and possible degradation of the internal lining, these helmets are often sold as collectibles or for decorative purposes, this specific model included. No exceptional damage to the helmet or visor. Condition: Display case, collectors item! (Inside, a few slightly loose fabric elements, but this is a show object; exterior and visor are very appealing with light signs of use from racing). No crash damage. SoleLuna: history as inspiration The SoleLuna design blends the historical colors of Rossi’s earlier helmets with the design he currently uses in the LMGT3 class of the World Endurance Championship. Designed by none other than Aldo Drudi, the man responsible for the iconic helmet designs of the past. But note, the helmet is offered in a one-time limited edition of 2,500 units worldwide (in 2001). As of 2026, a very fine collectible with an estimated auction value of 2,000–3,000 euros.
