Exclusive set of petrified wood from Madagascar –...

This exceptional petrified wood ball set brings together three unique spheres that preserve the impressive beauty of ancient forests. Over millions of years, the original wood was replaced by mineral processes while its characteristic structures remained intact. The result is fascinating color worlds in warm red, gold, brown, cream, and burgundy hues, making each sphere a distinctive natural work of art. The high-gloss finish brings the impressive grain patterns, natural stratifications, and organic drawings into particularly vivid relief. Each sphere tells its own geological story and reveals new details and color nuances with every glance. Each petrified wood ball set is an absolute one-of-a-kind. Differences in color gradient, grain, mineral inclusions and natural structures are expressions of the authenticity of the fossil wood and make each composition unique. Whether as an extraordinary collector's item, stylish decoration, or a special gift for lovers of fossil treasures—this petrified wood ball set combines the power of nature, timeless elegance, and millions of years of Earth's history in a fascinating form. The stands are NOT included. Stone: petrified wood Weight: 2046.83 g Size: - Treatment: None Origin: Madagascar It is a fossil wood dating back 200 million years, all parts from a log or branches have been silicified, meaning that organic components were little by little replaced by silicon in the form of jasper, chalcedony and more rarely opal. Without the organic parts, all the living matter was replaced by stone : there are growth rings, cell separations, almost like worm cracks. Its features are those of the mineral that would have pseudo-transformed the wood : the silicon. And that’s what we call a "petrified wood" in the common language. The disclaimer about the healing properties as previously given : It is believed that certain gemstones and minerals have beneficial health and spiritual properties.
