European school (XX) - Memento mori, il ciclo perenne

Oil painting on canvas on the Vanitas theme, reworked in a non-traditional way, placing a strong contrast between human anatomy linked to death and the lush vitality of nature. Allegory of Death and Regeneration, the subject is a skeleton immersed among lush foliage, elements symbolic of life and death and of the perpetual cycle of nature's transformation. In the bottom right there is the monogram "J.P." Painted in a refined frame of lacquered wood with a root-wood effect in maroon tones and original glass. Overall dimensions: 45 x 36 cm, frame width: 3.5 cm.
