Eugene Vavasseur - Poteries Culinaires

Advertising poster for cooking pots, ideal for a restaurant, café, or large kitchen. Very low reserve. Wrinkle at the top. Guaranteed original poster for earthenware pots from Vallauris, in the Alpes-Maritimes, 3 km above Cannes. Pottery from this region is partly famous because Picasso produced his pottery there. The poster is signed E. Vavafseur, but it is almost certainly by Eugene Vavasseur (1863–1949). Info thanks to Galerie Stylo.
