Ettore Sottsass - Olivetti, Lettera DL DeLuxe - Typewriter - 1960-1970

I’m selling the iconic Olivetti Lettera DL (De Luxe) portable typewriter, a masterpiece of Italian industrial design designed in the 1960s by architect and design explorer Ettore Sottsass. Characterized by its unmistakable gray/silver case with embossed black vinyl inserts and a black QZERTY keyboard with red details, it is an elegant, refined variant of the classic Lettera 32 mechanical. Details and Condition: Model: Olivetti Lettera DL Year of production: Late 1960s / Early 1970s Cosmetic condition: Excellent, conservatively preserved as shown in photos; body clean, plastic and fittings well kept, keyboard shiny. Mechanical condition: Mechanism, carriage, keys and levers perfectly smooth and functioning. Keyboard layout: QZERTY (original Italian layout of the period). Splendid both as a collectible piece and as a vintage décor item for studios, display windows, photo shoots, or for lovers of vintage mechanical writing.
