Ettore SOTTSASS, attributed to “Carlton” bookcase and room divider, model created in 1981, made of wood covered with polychrome melamine, featuring a hollowed-out five-level pyramidal structure forming niches and storage shelves, and a lower cabinet that opens at the front with two drawers on a solid quadrangular base Unsigned, unnumbered H. 200 cm - W. 190 cm - D. 32 cm History: Similar pieces are currently held in the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (inv. no. FNAC 1980), the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole (inv. no. 2000.16.1), and the Milwaukee Art Museum in the United States (inv. no.
