Title: The Cabaret ㅤ School: European Impressionist School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Figurative Impressionism with French influence ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas affixed to board ㅤ Condition: Overall good state of conservation, with possible signs of aging and wear appropriate to its era. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is placed within a figurative tradition of clear French inspiration, linked to scenes of cafés, cabarets, and leisure environments from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The composition and, especially, the attire of the characters evoke the iconography of the Belle Époque and Paris of the great café-concerts, with influences from genre painting and Impressionism devoted to depicting urban social life. ㅤ The scene shows three characters gathered around a table in a café or cabaret setting. In the foreground, a young woman elegantly dressed in a light suit with a striking hat adorned with feathers, holding a small flower. Behind her stands another female figure dressed in black, characterized by a large white bow and a voluminous dark hat. To the right, a bearded man appears leaning as he lights or handles a cigarette, adding a daily, intimate character to the composition. ㅤ On the table are various objects — cups, glasses, bottles, and small accessories — enriching the narrative of the scene. The vegetal background, resolved through different shades of green, creates a strong contrast with the figures and suggests a terrace or garden space. The work stands out for its decorative character, the dominance of a stylized figuration, and a balanced palette, with particular attention to the costumes and accessories typical of the depicted era. ㅤ The piece is presented with an elaborate, classical frame, very wide, finished in gold and aged bronze tones. It features abundant relief ornamentation of vegetal motifs and scrolls, accompanied by a broad light interior gap and several gilded moldings. Its monumental design enhances the decorative and elegant character of the painting. ㅤ Notes: The work may incur damage during transport despite proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge for reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge under any circumstances. ㅤ The courier passing through the Swiss border can experience much longer delays than normal, so, if possible, to speed up the process, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the client can release it and thus it can reach its destination. Our experience has shown that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments, the order may be delayed by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Dimensions: 48 × 38 cm Dimensions with frame: 73 × 62 cm
