Title: Boats in the Port ㅤ School: European Impressionist (20th century) ㅤ Style: Marine Impressionism ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ Condition: Good overall state of preservation. The frame shows visible signs of age and use. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is part of the European marine painting tradition influenced by Impressionism, with particular attention to light, the reflections on water, and the immediate capture of the vessels. The impasto brushwork and the predominance of blues and whites recall the Mediterranean port painting developed throughout much of the 20th century. ㅤ View of a small port in which several vessels appear grouped in the foreground. The vertical masts organize the composition while the reflections of the boats are fragmented on the water by quick and luminous brushstrokes. Blues dominate the scene, accompanied by whites, blacks, greens and small reddish accents that provide depth and chromatic variety. ㅤ It is presented with a wide wooden frame in brown and gold tones, accompanied by a light textile mat and a fine inner golden moulding. The frame shows marks and wear consistent with its age. ㅤ Observations: The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packing. In such a case, we will request photographs of the damage to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will in no case cover this surcharge. ㅤ The courier that must pass the Swiss border may be delayed far more than usual, so, if possible to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can release it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order is delayed more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience.
