Title: Cloister View ㅤ School: European Impressionist (19th century) ㅤ Style: Impressionism ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ State: Generally good conservation condition for its age. It presents restorations. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: Work linked to the European landscape and architectural tradition of the 19th century, with an execution close to impressionism due to the use of loose brushwork and an atmospheric interpretation of light. The composition also shows influences of Romantic landscape painting and of architectural views, where historic buildings, vegetation and water are integrated to create a scene of evocative character. ㅤ The composition represents the interior view of a cloister or monumental historicist architecture, organized around a rectangular pond. It notably highlights the large pointed arch at the back, accompanied by galleries, Gothic-inspired architectural elements and a central fountain reflected on the water. ㅤ The vegetation on the left introduces a note of freshness and contrasts with the ochre, gray and earthy tones of the architecture. The brushstroke is agile and visible, especially in the palm trees, the pond reflections and the architectural elements, privileging the luminous and atmospheric impression over meticulous representation. The presence of birds beside the water adds dynamism to a predominantly serene scene. ㅤ The work is presented with a frame of notable decorative presence, finished in gold and silver tones, with abundant vegetal ornamentation and relief volutes. A wide inner space (intercalle) and gold moldings frame the painting and reinforce its classical and ornamental character. ㅤ Observations: The work may suffer damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excess measurements or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge. ㅤ The courier that must cross the Swiss border can be delayed much longer than usual, so, if possible, to speed up the processing, we will provide the Customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can unblock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order delays more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Measurements: 47 × 38 cm Measurements with frame: 60 × 52 cm
