The frame shows rubbing, occasional finish losses, and signs of wear. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is inscribed within the European landscape tradition rooted in post-impressionist and Fauvist influences developed during the first half of the 20th century. The use of a palette dominated by blues, greens, and cream tones, combined with a free and visible brushwork, reveals the assimilation of chromatic investigations originated by post-impressionism and later developed by Fauvist painters. The simplification of volumes, especially noticeable in the architecture and vegetation, gives greater prominence to color and to the sense of light than to a strictly naturalistic representation. ㅤ The composition represents a rural landscape presided over by a white house situated in the middle ground, partially surrounded by vegetation. The architecture, with simple volumes and a reddish roof, constitutes the main focal point of the scene and softly contrasts with the cool tones of the surroundings. ㅤ In the foreground, several horizontal bands of cultivated land unfold, resolved with greens, ochres, and grayish tones. Two large trees with stylized trunks structure the composition vertically and frame the dwelling, while in the background there are mountain masses treated with broad brushstrokes in blues and whites. The sky and the mountains seem to meld chromatically, adding depth and a serene atmosphere to the landscape. ㅤ The execution stands out for its spontaneous and clearly perceptible brushwork, with impastos and rapid strokes that build the vegetation and the different planes of the landscape. The deliberately cool chromatic range and the simplification of forms reinforce the decorative and expressive character of the composition. ㅤ The work is presented with a wide gilded wooden frame, with a stepped profile and classical moldings. Its finish shows a patina typical of aged time, as well as various rubs and small superficial losses that lend character to the whole.
