Title: Landscape in Green School: European Fauvist School (20th century) Style: Fauvism Technique: Oil on canvas attached to panel ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The work is inscribed within the European Fauvist and Post-Impressionist tradition of the 20th century, showing affinities with artists who abandoned strictly naturalistic landscape representation in favor of an interpretation based on color, formal simplification, and expressiveness. The use of intense greens, yellows and ochres, along with defined outlines and the synthetic construction of figures and buildings, evidences influences of Fauvism and certain Post-Impressionist currents. The treatment of the rural landscape also recalls the pictorial renewal initiated by artists such as Henri Matisse, André Derain and Maurice de Vlaminck, without implying a direct attribution to their circle. Rural-themed composition featuring a wide landscape of fields and rolling hills. In the foreground there is a peasant figure wearing a hat, blue shirt and trousers in earth tones, accompanied by two animals grazing among the vegetation. On the left a second animal is distinguished beside a path that visually leads toward the core of the composition. ㅤ In the middle plane a small ensemble of simple rural houses develops, among which a bluish-toned, vertically profiled building stands out. The roads, cultivated fields and masses of vegetation articulate the depth of the scene through broad chromatic surfaces. In the background the hills assume intense ochre and orange tones, contrasting with the saturated greens of the foreground and the light blue of the sky. ㅤ The brushwork and the deliberately anti-naturalistic use of color give the scene a decorative and expressive character. The forms are outlined with defined profiles and simplified volumes, subordinating academic perspective to the chromatic organization of the composition. The work is presented with a wide classical frame, finished in gold and bronze tones. It features stepped moldings with abundant vegetal ornamentation and relief motifs, combined with a wide inner gap of pale gold tone. Its historicist character creates a marked contrast with the modern, colorful language of the painting. ㅤ Observations: ㅤ The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptional shipping costs may be affected by surcharges due to causes such as being outside a continental territory, excess dimensions or weight of the item.
