Aphrodite and Cupid on one side, and butterflies on the other side. Numbered 71 / 1500 by Russian-French artist Romain de Tirtoff (1892-1990). Marked: 1988 Sevenarts / Endurant NY. / 71/1500. Romain de Tirtoff, known by the pseudonym Erte, was a Russian-born French artist and designer. He worked in several fields, including interior decor, fashion, jewelry, graphic arts, costume, and set design for film, theatre, and opera.
