eros raffael - Eros Raffael - Sculpture, FU005 - 9.5 cm - Murano glass

Created in 2003 by Master Eros Raffael, this fascinating Murano glass sculpture draws inspiration from the soft, sinuous lines of a high-fashion hat, transforming a sartorial accessory into a sculptural work of art of extraordinary lightness and dynamism. The work fits into the golden period of 2003, a phase in the artist's trajectory characterized by exclusive dedication to mouth-blown glass. Through a deft play of volumes, bent sheets, and fluid curves, Raffael challenges the rigidity of glass, capturing the illusion of fabric soft and shaped by the wind. Technical Details and Style Master Glassmaker: Eros Raffael Year of Realization: 2003 Material: Murano blown glass Technique: Piera work (traditional Murano technique of blowing and shaping) Subject: Sculptural reinterpretation of a hat Edition: Unique Piece Critical Note Eros Raffael's mastery shines in the use of the "a piera" technique, which allows giving the surface of the glass a unique tactile feel and a rigorous stage presence. Warm-working the broad brims and soft contours of a hat requires extraordinary gestural precision and a deep understanding of glass behavior at high temperatures. The result is a sculpture with a strong visual impact, suspended between haute couture and the great Venetian glass tradition. Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of Murano glass, reinterpreted by the extraordinary talent of Eros Raffael. Professional shipping in a wooden crate.
