Ercuis - Knife rest (12) - Arceaux - heavy-gauge silver metal plate.

ot all red boxes contain jewels; ERCUIS also used red for the boxes of its iconic silver knife rests. French jewelry/metalwork pieces that can be used on the table for any special occasion without fear of breaking them. They are made of high-quality, thick silvered metal (known in French as métal argenté) and shine like a mirror with minimal cleaning. Each foot has engraved on the bottom the ERCUIS mark and a 12, the exact number of grams of pure silver that were used in the factory to apply the silver bath to the set of the 12 knife rests. Two boxes, 12 knife rests in total, in perfect condition. Not a blemish. A streamlined design that will pair with any table and prevent unsightly stains on that tablecloth you cherish. A small treasure that passes from generation to generation.
