Enamel villa board "Les Tamaris" - Enamel sign - Enamel, Steel

Rectangular cream-colored enamel nameplate with the text "LES TAMARIS" in dark brown, slanted upward-block letters. This is a so-called villa sign, a sign on which the name of a house or villa was displayed. The name "Les Tamaris" refers to the tamarisk, a shrub common in southern France. The sign is made of metal with a glossy enamel layer and has four mounting holes in the corners. The sign is in used, vintage condition. Light scratches, small rust spots at the edges, and signs of wear are visible, appropriate to its age. The dark brown text is still easily legible. This sober French enamel villa sign, with its graphic lettering and authentic signs of wear, is a moody object for lovers of French brocante and enamel collectibles.
