Nancy, um 1900-1910. Überfangglas mit geätztem und teilweise geschliffenem Dekor. Schlanke, konische Form auf rundem Standfuß, der sich nach oben weitet und in einem ausgestellten Mündungsausschwung endet. Farbloses Glas mit opak weißer und leuchtend oranger innerer Pulvereinschmelzung, die einen warmen, diffusen Hintergrund bildet. Mehrschichtiger Überfang in Brauntönen, aus dem reliefartig umlaufende Motive von blühenden Lilien und Blattranken herausgeätzt sind. Die Blütendetails sind fein herausgearbeitet, die Oberfläche mattiert und poliert. Der braune Standfuß ist undekoriert. An der unteren Wandung gravierte Signatur: Gallé. H. 20,5 cm. Unbeschädigter Zustand. | ÉMILE GALLÉ “Vase with Lily Decoration” Nancy, circa 1900–1910. Cased glass with etched and partially wheel-cut decoration. Slender, conical form on a circular foot, widening towards the upper section and terminating in a flared rim. Clear glass with opaque white and vivid orange internal powder inclusions, creating a warm, diffuse background. Multi-layered cased glass in shades of brown, from which the motifs of flowering lilies and leafy tendrils have been etched in relief around the body. The floral details are finely worked, with the surface alternately matt and polished. The brown foot is undecorated. Engraved signature “Gallé” to the lower body. Height: 20.5 cm.
