Emeryville #27 - Jaren Dahlstrom

Emeryville #27 by Jaren Dahlstrom Painting 24.0 x 18.0 :: The image shows an abstract painting characterized by bold vibrant colors and contrasting geometric shapes against more fluid organic forms. The dynamic composition is divided into regions of contrasting textures and hues conveying a sense of movement. The upper left features swirling patterns with bright rainbow-like stripes cascading over a dark background. This lively twist of colors transitions into a green expanse on the left side. Here a large blue square floats on the green field creating a point of focused color within the organic shapes. The lower section of the painting presents a solid dark purple block at the bottom suggesting a grounding base or horizon line that anchors the more volatile upper elements. Overlapping this purple is another geometric form: a black square framing a smaller centered green square in the bottom right corner. This juxtaposition of the rigid squares against the swirling backdrop evokes a tension between order and chaos suggesting a deliberate balance within the artwork. This painting exhibits an interplay between structured geometry and free-flowing abstraction inviting viewers to interpret the spatial relationships and symbolic meanings behind the striking visual elements. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 24.0 Height: 18.0 Depth: 0.3 Weight: 16 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
