ELICA aesthetics of QUARTZ: BI-TERMINATED and MILKY

Splendid specimen of Faden Quartz, a hyaline (colorless) variety, from the well-known locality of Tole, Wana, in South Waziristan, Pakistan. The piece presents as an aggregate of perfectly transparent crystals, many of which are biterminated, crossed by the characteristic filamentous white line (the "Faden", German for "thread") that attests to the particular growth genesis of this quartz variety, due to recrystallization along a progressively opening fracture. The set of crystals, well defined and arranged in an harmonious manner, gives the piece a particularly aesthetic and scenographic appearance. These features add aesthetic and mineralogical value to the piece. It is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, including in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in tone may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
