EGYPTIAN STONE SCARAB WITH CONCENTRIC CIRCLES IN SWIVEL GOLD RING

Middle Kingdom, ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. > A pale stone scarab with a convex back, incised wing cases and a schematically carved head. The flat underside is engraved with seven concentric ring-and-dot motifs, linked by short lines and enclosed within an oval border.
