EGYPTIAN BLUE FAIENCE WEDJAT AMULET IN 18K GOLD PENDANT

Third Intermediate Period, ca. 1069 - 664 BC. A blue faience wedjat eye amulet with the brow, eye, markings and extended cosmetic line highlighted in dark pigment. The amulet is set in a hallmarked 18K gold frame following its outline, with suspension loops at the upper corners. Size: 23mm x 19mm; Weight: 4.7g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Germany; formerly with S.T. collection, Switzerland, 1980s-2000s.
