Early XXth Century Marriage bed linen with S.M. initials - Textile

This bed linen was, without doubt, embroidered as a wedding gift for the newlyweds to use during their honeymoon period. The initials, S .M. measuring approximately 13 cm in height, are embroidered in high relief, standing out prominently against the fine linen background. Between the initials is a charming and romantic arrangement of flowers, beautifully tied together with a ribbon and bow.
