E. García - Laura durmiendo XL

“Laura sleeping” is a 100×70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work presents an intimate and serene scene in which a woman rests beside a table, surrounded by flowers, ceramics and small everyday objects. The figure, dressed in a vivid yellow, occupies a large part of the composition and conveys a sense of pause and tranquility. Color plays a starring role: luminous yellows, reds, and oranges face the deep blues and turquoises of the background and the large vase. This play of contrasts brings vitality to a seemingly silent scene. The flowers, lemons and the glass introduce small focal points of color that enrich the composition. The direct brushwork, simplified shapes, and the free and expressive use of color show echoes of Fauvism and modern painting. The scene transforms a quotidian moment of rest into a warm and contemplative image, where figure, objects and color build an intimate domestic atmosphere full of personality. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself.
