“The Pink Palace” is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work depicts a palatial garden viewed through a succession of arches and columns in pink tones. Architecture takes a leading role and works as a large frame that guides the eye toward the interior of the garden, where paths, vegetation, flowers, and new arcades visually extend the space. The composition is built around a pronounced central perspective. The stone path begins in the foreground and advances toward the background, creating depth and guiding the viewer between the columns. The repetition of arches establishes an architectural rhythm that contrasts with the freer, more organic shapes of trees and shrubs. The palette is especially characteristic for its combination of powdered pinks, intense greens, and stone tones. The walls and capitals acquire different nuances of pink, salmon, and earth, while the vegetation introduces a wide range of greens that brings freshness and luminosity to the scene. Small orange accents in the flowers subtly break the chromatic harmony.
