This work traces the historical evolution of the bicycle (draisine, penny-farthing, modern models). Recto (Line Art): Original ink drawing on Chinese ink, signed “é. caesar” at the bottom left. It features the period’s handwritten editorial annotations in the margins. Verso (Color guide): Original gouache on tracing paper/support used as a color-matching guide for the printer, with the period stamp of the Graph-Lit Service agency.
