Description A finely potted plate of gently curved form, decorated in the exquisite doucai (contrasting colours) technique — underglaze blue outlines filled with translucent overglaze enamels in vibrant green, iron-red, yellow and aubergine. The centre features an elegant scrolling arrangement of foliage and fruit, encircled by four distinct fruiting branches — lychee, persimmon, pomegranate and longevity peach — each symbolising abundance, good fortune and fertility. The base bears a clear six-character mark: Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi — "Made in the Chenghua Reign of the Great Ming Dynasty". Elegant, restrained and beautifully balanced.
