Compagnie des Grands Express Aériens, 1922 An airline with a short, notorious history, among others known for the ‘1922 Picardie mid-air collision’, later merged into Air France. A particularly decorative feature is a plate with the coats of arms of London and Paris in the margin. CGEA operated passenger flights in the early 1920s-23 from Le Bourget, Paris to London’s Croydon Aerodrome.
