DINKY TOYS - FRANCE (1) - Lot 286

DINKY TOYS - FRANCE (1) 805 UNIC MULTIBENNE + PRIMAGAZ TANKER, red, gray, and black. A beautiful set—you can just imagine how much fun it must have been to play with and what a luxurious gift it must have been! RARE FIRST-EDITION BOX with a light yellow insert (which later became gray). This box is usually associated with models bearing the 38 A engraving, which are very rare. Here, the chassis bears the reference number 805. Model has never been played with, featuring original pinheads (likely due to quality control testing on an inclined plane). Beautiful, very fresh box with paper tears caused by torn adhesive tape, as well as tape residue and glue stains on the bottom of the box. A-.c.
