This is a classic English desk from Birmingham, crafted from solid oak. The design is characteristic of traditional English furniture style, with an elegant silhouette and functional details that make it both practical and decorative. The desk is fitted with a green leather-inlaid top, finished with a subtle gold-colored trim. The base consists of four turned legs ending in brass casters. At the front, there are two drawers with round wooden knobs. The overall condition of the desk is good and in keeping with its age. The wood has developed a rich patina over the years, which contributes to the authentic character of the piece. The original finish and construction are well preserved. It can serve as a stylish workspace in a study, office, or as a atmospheric writing desk in the living room.
