(◊) DENMARK. Nationalbanken i Kjobenhavn. 500 Kroner, 1921. P-24d.

Impressive Grade for Type (◊) DENMARK. Nationalbanken i Kjobenhavn. 500 Kroner, 1921. P-24d. PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45. The 1921 date is part of the first group of this type (called 'Heilmann I' in Sieg), issued intermittently between 1910 and 1925. As the highest denomination of the period demand for this denomination must have been rather low, resulting in them only being printed (on average) every five years or so. This is an especially nice example and is surely one of the nicest extant of this particular date. The 1931 issue, which is the next type, looks similar at first glance but has different text on the front, making this a separate type. An important opportunity for the advanced specialist as such. PMG Comments "Minor Rust." Provenance: From the Nordjysk Collection. (◊) This lot has been consigned from the European Union and will be shipped or picked up from our Denmark office once the auction concludes. Item is subject to full VAT for non-VAT registered entities or individuals who take delivery of lots within EU countries. For any lots delivered outside of Denmark the declaration value shall be the item’(s) hammer price plus its buyer’s premium.
