Denbac - Vase - Art Nouveau - Stoneware

A fine French grès flammé stoneware vase, measuring circa 10,3cm in height and weighing 197g, with triple handle, decorated in earth toned enamels. Signed Denbac to the underside. René Denert and René-Louis Balichon operated their studio in Vierzon from 1921 to 1937, after which production petered out following the death of Denert and the advent of WWII. The models epitomize the Art Deco form language. Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
