The dilemma for an antique jewelry dealer is having to part with particularly beautiful pieces of jewellery that we’ve acquired only after a long search. After all, these hand-forged, one-of-a-kind pieces usually exist in only one copy, and some pieces of jewellery—sold years ago—are impossible to forget; they linger in one’s mind. One such piece of jewellery was a diamond ring from around 1905, which had immediately captivated us with its delicate yet elegant design. So we asked our goldsmith to forge a ring for us, exactly like the one we once owned and loved so much. This ring, our “favorite piece,” has been part of our collection for quite some time now. In response to numerous customer requests, we’ve now designed a variation of it that combines the shape of our favorite piece with a larger diamond. This ring, crafted from high-karat gold, is also made from antique material. Its center is now adorned with a wonderful, flawless 0.30 ct brilliant-cut diamond (G, IF). An independent GIA certificate for the center diamond is included with the ring. Delicate openwork and milgrains embellishments adorn the surface, lending the piece its understated elegance. Small additional diamonds add further points of light. Thanks to its high-quality, durable materials and flat design, the ring is suitable for everyday wear.
