Decorative tray - Art Nouveau Style Figural Pewter Card...

Art Nouveau Style Figural Pewter Card Tray / Vide-Poche - Reclining Nymph & Water Lilies - 95% Pewter An elegant Art Nouveau style figural card tray (vide-poche / trinket dish), cast after the legendary historical Model No. 229 by the renowned German manufacturer WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), originally designed around 1900-1906. This beautiful piece features a classic Art Nouveau theme: a semi-nude reclining water nymph (or mermaid) resting on the edge of a stylized water lily pond. Her long, flowing hair and organic lines seamlessly merge into the asymmetrical borders of the tray, accented by delicate water lily buds and leaves. The openwork base replicates the natural root structure. The underside is stamped with the quality hallmark "95%", confirming it is crafted from high-grade, heavy, lead-free pewter (95% pure tin content) produced in the mid-to-late 20th century. It is a highly collectible and faithful replica that perfectly captures the romanticism and fluid aesthetics of the Jugendstil era. Will be sent with safe packaging
