Versailles 1920 - PAX" (Year code: 1920): Commemoration of the entry into force of the Treaty of Versailles, with doves of peace and a radiant sun. • Provenance: De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft), Netherlands. • Makers: All plates are fully and officially marked on the back with the apothecary’s bottle motif, the initials '' and ''Delft.''. • Dating: Featuring the official year letters (including 'AO' for 1919), model number 625 and the personal initials of the master painters. • Technique: Fully hand-painted earthenware (no transfer/print decor). Condition/Dimensions: 18.3 cm wide. In very good antique condition. No chips or restorations. As is typical with this type of authentic earthenware from that period, there is very light, characteristic crazing in the glaze, which adds to the antique appearance. Shipped with extreme care.
