EN This specific US pressing features highly sought-after details: - Barcodes: The number 8 88751 88851 6 is found on the Barnes & Noble sticker, while 8 88751 88851 7 is the sticker on the official bundle's shrinkwrap. - Webstore Exclusive: This 180-gram clear vinyl was initially released in a limited run of only 5,000 copies via David Bowie's official website. - Cover Details: The packaging is a gatefold with a die-cut star on the front, revealing the vinyl inside, and includes a 16-page booklet. David Bowie and his longtime designer Jonathan Barnbrook designed this packaging as an interactive work of art. If you have the cover to hand, you can immediately test some of his famous "secrets." 1 - The Sun Trick: If you take the blank cover (without the record inside) and expose it directly to strong light or sunlight, an entire galaxy of bright stars will come to life inside the large black die-cut star. 2 - The Reflection in the Dark: By exposing the cover to a black light (UV light), the geometric designs and the title begin to glow under fluorescent light. 3 - The "Reflective Effect": When looking at the gatefold inside under a specific angle of artificial light, a blurry, three-dimensional image of David Bowie's face will appear, seemingly floating in the black cardboard.
