Daum - Vase - Glass - Art Deco

The selected item is a refined vintage vase signed Daum France, made in artistic glass paste (historically noted for the pâte de verre technique) or acid-etched crystal. It stands out for a splendid vibrant lime green/turquoise hue with organic nuances and clouded effects typical of French art craftsmanship. On the circular base of the piece, the prestigious acid-etched signature 'Daum France' is clearly visible. The historic crystal works of Nancy, founded in 1878 by Jean Daum, are famous worldwide for their Art Nouveau, Art Déco, and 20th-century modern design pieces.
