Daum - Centrepiece - Crystal - Monumental centre 47 cm

DAUM – Monumental centerpiece Crystal clear, blown and hot-worked France, 20th century. A heavy and outsized object for shipment. Exceptional monumental centerpiece in crystal, created by the prestigious house Daum, emblematic of French glassmaking know-how and mastery of crystal work in the 20th century. This piece is distinguished by its spectacular dimensions, giving it a sculptural presence and immediate visual impact. Its widely spread shape, with stretched and undulating edges, evokes a fluid, organic movement, almost winged, characteristic of the monumental creations of the house. The crystal, perfectly transparent and of great purity, is worked with remarkable virtuosity: folds, ribs and tensions of material structure the piece and capture light, generating subtle reflections and depth. The central base, denser and more architectural, ensures perfect balance while accentuating the piece’s dynamic momentum. Signed Daum, this centerpiece sits at the boundary between decorative object and true crystal sculpture. Through its size and elegance, it is meant for a large reception table, a central console, or gallery display. Condition: excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and only very light traces compatible with age and handling. Spectacular and rare work, ideal for Daum collectors, aficionados of monumental crystal pieces, or interiors seeking a bold, luminous, and architectural creation. Microscopic scratches present on the piece but nothing that could alter its decorative value. The images are part of the description. Delivery to a relay point if possible.
