Dana Point Baby Beach II - Grace Diehl

Dana Point Baby Beach II by Grace Diehl Painting 14.0 x 11.0 :: As a fine artist who specializes in plein air painting I love to explore new and interesting places to paint. Recently I discovered the stunning beauty of Dana Point CA and I was immediately inspired to create a painting from this special place. It was a crisp bright day with clear skies and a gentle breeze. The area I chose to paint was a quiet spot with a few friendly passerby who were curious about my work. The scenery was simply stunning with a view of the ocean rolling hills and a picturesque harbor. With my canvas and oil paints ready I set to work capturing the beauty of Dana Point. I was in my element surrounded by nature with the sun on my face and the sound of the waves in the background. As I painted I was struck by the peacefulness of the place and I was determined to capture this feeling in my painting. I worked carefully building up the layers of paint and creating a sense of depth and texture in the scene. Whether you're an art lover or simply appreciate the beauty of nature I hope that this painting of Dana Point will bring a smile to your face and remind you of the peaceful moments in life. I look forward to returning to this area for more painting and capturing more of the natural beauty of Southern California.
