Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts" This artwork is from the series "Hommage a Yves Klein" Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art. His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen. All objects have been produced with elaborate hand craftsmanship This is not about symmetry or perfection of the sculpture; it is rather a mirror of human diversity with all its differences. "I think, therefore I am" (Latin cogito, ergo sum) is a central sentence of the French philosopher René Descartes (1596–1650), considered the foundation of modern rationalism. It means that the act of doubting or thinking itself proves the existence of the thinker, i.e., the individual. Hand-signed Edition no. 7/30 The ultramarine blue color is produced by me personally from pigment components in a particular formula. Thanks to this formula, this blue is matte, velvety in surface, and absorbs light. This means the less light falls on the sculpture, the more intensely the blue glows. Total weight ca. 1 kg My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg... My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential hallmark of Pop Art is the often trivial objects known from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thereby given a new life as a "work of art".
