Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts" This artwork is part of the series "Homage to Yves Klein" Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art. His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen. All objects have been carefully handmade by me. Parts of the handwork are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object Hand-signed Ultramarine blue pigment, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light. The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs residual light Elephant is approx. 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base Edition No. 10/20 My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon... My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising that are well known. The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me, and thus given a new life as "art objects".
