Cyril Keller - Im Siebten Himmel

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then, colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a personal expression fascinated me. This passion remains the foundation of my work to this day. I was particularly influenced by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance for my development. As his student, I was able to benefit from knowledge and passion that still accompany me today. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the resulting textures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process, learned craft meets intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers long-lasting joy. Each work leaves room for one’s own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and reveal new sides again and again over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for delivery. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
