The suggestion of a big thundercloud coming from the sea, in Maremma, full of colors, rain and electricity. Whether it's a winter day or a summer storm bringing relief to the great heat, some will feel unease and others will be captivated, but it is impossible to remain indifferent in front of this spectacle of nature. The painting is sold without a frame; it is an acrylic on canvas 30x30 cm with double thickness and comes with a certificate of authenticity. I was born and raised in a family deeply immersed in art and, from a young age, I developed a strong bond with painting. I prefer oil painting, through which I explore evocative and suspended atmospheres: misty landscapes, stormy skies, rain-soaked lands, and my great love, the sea. The goal is to convey a deep emotion, a sense of inner quiet, inviting the viewer into a space suspended between reality and imagination. I live and work in Grosseto, in the Tyrrhenian Maremma, a land rich in visual suggestions, which represents a constant reference point and an inexhaustible source of inspiration for my paintings. www.cristinapaolini.com
