Counterpoise - Timothy Gent

Counterpoise by Timothy Gent Painting 20.9 x 16.9 :: Counterpoise is an expressive original abstract painting by Timothy Gent created using watercolour ink and charcoal. A strong vertical axis anchors translucent passages of magenta and blue intersected by energetic charcoal and ink gestures. The composition balances weight and transparency density and open paper with broad charcoal passages set against finer linear marks. Successive layers accumulate overlap and recede allowing colour line and texture to remain in constant dialogue while areas of exposed paper add space and luminosity to the composition. Created using professional artist materials Counterpoise is signed titled and dated on the reverse and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. :: Type: Painting Medium: Watercolor Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 20.9 Height: 16.9 Depth: 0.2 Weight: 0.1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
