Corsican mouflon Taxidermy full body mount - Ovis aries...

Look closely at all the photos. The Corsican Mouflon (Ovis aries musimon) is a wild subspecies of the domestic Sheep (Ovis aries). It is endemic to Corsica and Sardinia. It lives in the mountains, notably in the Cinto and Bavella reserves. The animal is called muvra (fem.) or muvrone (masc.) in Corsican. The Corsican muvra and muvrone originate, just like the regional Italian muffione, muflone (hence the French mouflon), from late Latin mufrō, which is of pre-Latin origin like the classical musimo “wild sheep.” The object is both large and superb. Taxidermy having been completed in early 2026, the object is new. The nuanced colors, the expression, the gaze and the large, thick horns of natural color are sublime. We are indeed looking at a Trophy in every respect superb, unique, exceptional. We have the pleasure of offering it here to All and Everyone, and only here on Catawiki Not to be missed!!! Good luck to All and Everyone!!!!
