The photos are in excellent condition and mounted in the album with pieces of double-sided tape (they can be easily removed without damaging them). As is often the case with this photographer, the photos are unsigned and unstamped. One of these is published in the Corrado Preti In viaggio catalog. Danilo Montanari Editore 2019. Auction with no reserve!!!!! Corrado Preti (born in Lugo in 1931) is an Italian photographer best known for his reports and travel photography. He began cultivating an interest in photography in the 1950s in Lugo (Ravenna), gradually developing a style influenced by the great masters in the history of photography. Preti has traveled the world, documenting cultures, landscapes, and moments of daily life. One of his first and most important reports dates from 1969 during a trip to India, from which a solo exhibition also arose. In 2019 he published the anthology book “In viaggio. Mezzo secolo di fotografie in giro per il mondo” (published by Danilo Montanari Editore), curated by Daniele Serafini. The volume and the related exhibitions collect a carefully selected set of his most significant shots, regarded as a true poetic testimony of an era in which traveling and photographing represented an existential adventure."
