Vintage Foldable Angular Shelf in Wrought Iron, Full Iron and Rattan – Boho Chic / Urban Jungle Style (70s/80s) Fascinating and elegant vintage angular corner shelf dating to the second half of the 20th century (circa the 70s/80s), perfect for lovers of Boho Chic style and Urban Jungle decor. The piece harmoniously combines the solidity and charm of wrought iron with the natural warmth and organic feel of rattan, creating a perfect bohemian contrast. The supporting structure is entirely made of solid wrought iron, fully in a dark color. With a total weight of around 6 kg, the shelf offers artisanal-level stability and robustness, far superior to modern lightweight industrial reproductions. The top is finely decorated with ornamental motifs of tendrils and leaves, while the front uprights and the profiles of the three quarter-circle shelves are embellished with natural rattan/midollino woven finishes. One of the most interesting features is its space-saving functionality: the three shelves lift vertically thanks to sturdy cylindrical metal hinges welded by hand directly onto the structure, allowing the two rear sides to fold "like a book" onto themselves. It is the ideal piece to display trailing plants, books, or collectible objects in verandas, winter gardens, covered balconies, or interiors with an eclectic vintage touch. Dimensions: • Height: 103 cm • Corner side depth: 27 x 27 cm • Weight: about 6 kg The item presents itself in good vintage structural condition. The folding mechanism and hinges are perfectly intact and functional. The iron structure shows a beautiful and natural patina of time that testifies to its authenticity. Normal signs of aging are noted. Photos are an integral part of the description.
