Conrad Gesner - Nomenclator aquatilium animantium - 1560

Beautiful leaf with three hand-colored woodcuts, heightened with egg-white of Deers from the FIRST EDITION of Gesner's "Nomenclator aquatilium animantium". Zurich, Christopher Froschauer, 1560.
